Which Pakistan Navy Jobs Are Open Today?
Many websites still show old ads as if they are new. Here is the real status as per the latest public information.
| Navy Entry | Current Status | Details |

| PN Cadet 2027-A | Open | Closes 11 October 2026 |
| Civilian Batch B-2026 | Closed | Registration was from 8 to 22 February 2026 |

A tentative plan is not an official advertisement. Dates can change. Please wait for the official notice.
One note on dates. A few job sites show a different last date for Sailor Batch B-2026. Most sources agree on 5 July 2026, so that is the date used here.
Who Can Apply for PN Cadet 2027-A?
This is the Navy officer entry for a permanent commission. It is for male candidates only, in the Operations, Supply and Engineering branches.
Eligibility criteria:
- Male citizen of Pakistan
- Height of at least 5 feet 4 inches, with no height waiver
- At least 60% marks in both Matric and FSc, or O and A Level
- Civilians must be unmarried and aged 16½ to 21 on 15 May 2027
- Serving armed forces members can be 17 to 23 years old, married or unmarried
- O Level and A Level students need an IBCC equivalence certificate
Notice that age is counted on 15 May 2027, not today. This helps many young students who thought they were too young.
Which Branch Fits Your FSc?
Your FSc subjects decide your branch. Pick with care.
| Branch | FSc Group Needed | Degree During Training |
|---|---|---|
| Operations | Physics and Maths, plus Chemistry, Computer Science or Statistics | BS Maritime Sciences |
| Supply | Physics and Maths, plus Chemistry, Computer Science or Statistics | BS Supply Chain Management |
| Marine Engineering | Pre-Engineering | BE Mechanical |
| Weapon Engineering | Pre-Engineering | BE Electrical |
| Construction | Pre-Engineering | BE Naval Architecture |
Pre-Medical students can apply only if they pass additional Mathematics before 15 March 2027. DAE holders are not eligible, as per the Navy’s FAQ.
Can You Apply in FSc Part 2?
Yes, with conditions. You need at least 65% in FSc Part 1 and a hope certificate from your college head. You must finish FSc before 15 May 2027. If your final marks fall below 60%, you can be disqualified at any stage.
How to Apply Online for Pakistan Navy Jobs 2026
You fill one form. You choose your branch, your selection centre, and your own test date and time. Follow these steps:
- Open the official website joinpaknavy.gov.pk.
- Press Register Now under the latest PN Cadet 2027-A advertisement.
- Choose your branch, PN Recruitment and Selection Centre, and test date.
- Upload a small passport photo.
- Enter your name, CNIC, father’s details, date of birth, height, domicile, address and education.
- Read the agreement, submit the form, and save your registration slip.
You can print the slip again later from the Registration Slips section.
Mistakes That Can Cost You a Seat
These small errors are common.
- Wrong centre or date. The selected recruitment centre and test date cannot be changed.
- Ported mobile number. The form warns against giving a number moved from one network to another.
- Low marks. Below 60% means you are not eligible.
- Wrong subjects. Engineering needs Chemistry. Pre-Medical needs extra Maths.
- Late action. Last day rush can slow down the website.
- Missing papers. Without original documents, you cannot sit the test.
What Happens After Registration?
The next steps are the entrance test, the physical test, the ISSB and the final merit list.
Computer Based Entrance Test
The first test is on a computer. It has an intelligence part, verbal and non-verbal, and an academic part in English, Maths, Physics and General Knowledge. English carries the most weight among the academic subjects.
The Navy offers a free practice test at practicetest.joinpaknavy.gov.pk.
Documents to Carry on Test Day
You will not be allowed to sit the test without these:
- Original certificates and marks sheets of Matric and FSc
- IBCC equivalence certificate for O and A Level
- CNIC or Juvenile Card
- Three coloured photographs attested by a gazetted officer
- Registration fee
The fee is paid on the entrance test day, not online. The official fee amount was not available in the sources I could check.
Physical Test
The test includes a one mile run in 8 minutes, 15 push-ups and 15 sit-ups in 2 minutes each, and 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
ISSB and Final Selection
After the physical test, shortlisted candidates go to the Inter Services Selection Board, then a medical, then a final merit list by Naval Headquarters. The Navy says the full process can take 6 to 7 months.
Sources differ on training length. The 2027-A criteria sheet says four years of basic training with a degree, while an older FAQ says two years. The newer criteria sheet should be trusted for this intake.
